I’ve been thinking about starting a daily-photograph project for a long time, I’ve just never gotten around to actually begin! And after reading about Steve starting this project, and recommending a place to organize your project, I thought I would start a Shuttercal as well!
Shuttercal is a place where you can upload your photos into a calendar and easily show it to other people. It also has some community features like having a network of friends, being able to share it on Twitter and such. It’s a great place to use for your daily photo project, because you can easily see on the calendar how you’re doing, and it can also remind you if you’ve forgotten to upload a photo!
So, I thought I would try this out, and see how it’ll go! It even has an iPhone app, which makes it even easier for me to upload a photo each day!
I already have my first photo up, from yesterday:
It was a gift from two of my co-workers, a chicken that plays a lullaby if you pull it’s neck up! Everyone in technical at work has their own “pet”, and since I am new I didn’t have one! But that changed yesterday! I love it, it’s super cute!
So, be sure to check out my calendar! I will try to update it with photos, perhaps not uploading everyday, but at least on a regular basis!

Oh, and don’t forget to check out Steve’s shuttercal, and also his better half, Jo’s shuttercal!

That’s a great project! Like I said to Steve, I don’t think I’d be able to keep it updated everyday! lol But I love the idea and I’m a fan of taking pictures!!
By the way, love the new little pet. lol I think it’s pretty nice of them for giving you one. Sounds your coworkers are nice people.
Have a good day!

Wow, so interesting! The chicken is so cute! I do agree with Mélanie, I don’t think I can commit to a photo a day LOL!

It’s not easy to do a photo everyday, I have to remind myself from time to time… but the important thing in life is to try!
I have a Shuttercal account too, but I keep forgetting to updating it, because I keep my Project 365 in Tumblr.
I agree, it’s definitely not easy to take photos everyday… there are times when you’ll run out of ideas and end up posting nearly the same stuff or angles.
But I keep shooting, because it teaches me patience and keeps my brain working!

I tend to forget to update it as well, and then I remember and do a batch-updating
I usually take a photo each day, I just forget to upload it!
Indeed. Taking a photo each day does indeed teach you patience, and gives you an eye for seeing the extraordinary amongst all the “normal” stuff that goes on around you at all time.
