All Cooped Up

Being cooped up inside the house because it’s freezing outside (-15C now) has made me almost bounce off the walls :P Of course, being connected to the Internet I have an unlimited amount of entertainment right at my fingertips, but even with this access I’m slowly going insane! It’s just too cold, and without proper winter wear, the mere thought of venturing outside makes me just want to hide under the blankets and wait for spring to come! And to make matters even worse, this weekend it might get as cold as -20 :S Too cold!

Trying to find ways to entertain myself I’ve started on the two lists on my 101 in 1001 list, namely #2 Create a list of 100 things that make me happy/I’m thankful for and #3 create a list of 100 things about me.

Tomorrow however, a semi-regular routine starts up again after the  holidays, with my Japanese class, which I am looking forward to! It’ll be great to get back into the Japanese routine, so that I can fast track my way to fluency! :D

I also have a secondary job interview on Friday, which I need to prepare for! :) I just hope that those -20 Celsius don’t kick in when I am out on the social event part of the job interview!

Good luck at your job interview! You’ll nail it :) I agree that it’s freezing outside. I’m even freezing when I’m inside! Can you post your 100things list about yourself? I think it would be a good read :)

Aww -20 is cold indeed :/ but it’ll be worth it for an interview. Wish you all the best of luck! And good that class starts back tomorrow, will make you get out a little ;)

I agree with Warunee, you’ll have to post your lists… ;)

I can relate. It’s currently -21C at the moment… but that’s the low, so I can deal with it! It should be only -10C when I have to go and walk to school. Stay warm and best of luck on the interview.

      Thank you!

Ouch, -21C is even worse than what it is here now!

I will have to get myself some proper winter wear this weekend. According to the weather report they estimate that it is going to stay this cold the rest of January :/

I wish you all the best for your job interview! :) And what a great way to start the year by being grateful. I have never experienced sub-zero temperatures and seeing how I abhor fans and aircons I think I’ll never survive :) LOL!

Having spent on average a month every past summer for the last 3-4 years in a country with around 30-40 degrees Celsius, my body seems to have acclimatized to that level of temperature. So being in Norway now, with below freezing, and temperature’s as low as -20ish Celcius… I’m cold, lol!
