Catching Up With Good Friends

One of my favourite things in life is being with my best friends and just hanging out. We don’t have to do anything special, just sitting down having lunch for an example, and catching up.

I have my group of people that I call my “inner circle”, because these are the people I trust and feel 110% comfortable with. They know the real inner me, and I them. This group consist of four people, myself included.

I mentioned the other day that I met up with a good friend of mine (Azim) who has been studying abroad for about 6 months, and he’s a part of that inner circle. And this inner circle, with all four members haven’t been together in 6 months! We separated in July, Warunee and her husband Lars going off on their honeymoon, and me and Azim going to Vietnam for a week. Then me and Azim returned to Thailand for a couple of hours before he flew off to China again before having the chance to meet up with Warunee and Lars again!

Warunee invited the gang for Thai dinner today, and it was a feast! And a lovely time seeing everyone all together again! :D

We ate papaya salad (which was SPICY (and yummy), but good for me since I have a slight cold :/), pad thai, fish cakes(?) and a curry dish I don’t remember the name of. After a lot of catching up (catching up on 6 months take some time) we sat down and enjoyed a good cup of tea Azim had sent me from China and played Mario on Wii for hours! :D

Looks like you had alot of fun!

I have my inner circle as well, so I know what it is like. Technically, we haven’t been the three of us together in a long time, as usually one boyfriend of them tag along.

Friendship, and mostly true frendship, is so important and it is really nice to see you had a chance to be all together. Hope you get to enjoy that more often ;)
