How about those resolutions?

I thought I would check up on my new years resolutions, that I posted in the beginning of January…

  • Work harder at school

Hmmm, I'm not really working harder per say, but I have become a bit better at attending the lectures! I should get even better, as I *am* paying 50 000 NOK (~ 7971 USD) for this! :S

  • Study hard for math course

I lost a couple of lectures, once because I got sick, and then two other times because I was lazy, but I've been good lately, trying my best to pay attention too! It's so booring though :/

  • Learn Japanese

Well, I've been attending a course, and plan to take level 3 in september this year (currently taking L1), depending on how much I'll miss out on in L2. I'm going to try and learn katakana at least by the time summer is over. Best would be if I had learnt it for when I leave to Japan!

I'm also working on my kanji skills. I've printed out some nifty small flashcards from this website, and try to drill some when I can.

  • Clean up my room (and keep it neat), clean in my closet and other storage places, keep my stuff in the living room to a minimum.

Well. uhm. It's a bit better, it is. I try to keep things off the floor, so that it'll be easier to vacuum and stuff, but it's still kinda messy :P The living room is a complete mess now, because we just got a new sofa, and Warunee haven't been able to pick up the old one yet, so now we have 3 sofas in the living room :P And we're laying wooden floor in the kitchen, so there's all kinds of tools lying around as well.

  • Eat less candy and unhealthy stuff!

Now this, I've been good at! I eat lots and lots of apples and mangos everyday, I don't drink much soda, mostly water or some sort of lemonade (without sugar). Gah, I can't think of the English word for it, but the Norwegian is saft.

Now that it's easter and all, I have been eating a bit more candy, but not much! I promise!

I'm also thinking of starting up on my taekwondo again. There's a training facility near where I live that teaches it, so… Maybe. I still have my old "uniform"! Wo! :D

  • Find myself a new job!

Still nothing. I haven't been looking too hard though, kind of busy with real life and school for the moment!

  • Save money for a trip to Japan!
  • Use less money on crap….

I guess these two kinda go together. I haven't bought as much crap as I could have, so I think I've been good! Recently purchased some bento stuff from a girl over at ebay, but that was just a total of around 12 USD ~ 70 NOK. Not bad.
